Institutional Research

The Office of Institutional Research provides information about the Duke University School of Nursing in support of institutional decision making and towards achievement of our collective missions and goals. View reports here.

To accomplish its work, the Office of Institutional Research:

  • Provides school data (enrolled students, degrees and certificates earned, faculty, staff, etc.) for internal reporting and programmatic assessment
  • Assists with accreditation efforts
  • Responds to external information requests and surveys the school deems of value
  • Services Ad hoc reporting requests. (Please see the Report Approval Procedure which details our processes for releasing school data.)
Our Mission

The mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to provide accurate and timely collection, analysis, and dissemination of institutional data in support of the Duke University School of Nursing's mission and goals.

Our Goals

To provide accurate and timely collection, analysis, and dissemination of institutional data. To be an active and creative agent in the process of institutional self-examination and improvement. To advocate for data quality and integrity in existing and future data collection and systems. To demonstrate a high level of service to the key decision-makers and community at large.
