    On Tuesday, Nov. 30, Dean Vincent Guilamo-Ramos will address social determinants of health, examining historic large-scale health and socially transformative events that have elevated the profile of nurses in safeguarding the health and well-being of the country. The virtual event will be held from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m., and registration is required. The event will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation available in Spanish.

    HyunBin (Binnie) You, PhD student, gave a Zoom presentation on Monday, Nov. 1, at the Duke Palliative Care Grand Rounds with Deepshikha Caran Ashana. The presentation was about “Racial disparities in ICU shared decision making” and presented the preliminary findings of the team’s ongoing research project using rapid qualitative analysis.
